Foursquare 3.0 aims to “redefine loyalty”:
This article is about a very famous social media named Foursquare! This social media based on geolocalisation permits to everyone (individuals, firms, specialist of social media,...) where they are, what they are doing, and permits meeting of people! Because meetings created business you can share and reacted to lets people know your mouvements all over the globe.
Like all others social media Foursquare have decided to create their own mobile app and now a new version 3.0.
How it can brings you business?
With this new version of Foursquare business will now be able to offer Specials to swarms, groups of friends, regulars, newbies, Mayors, or simply to everyone. And, on the Places screen in the app, you can now see a list of all the Specials nearby, so it’s easier to find places that reward foursquare users.
With over than a quarter million users in Fourquare this app is the important tools for any people who wants to increase his popularity all over the world.
In my opinion Foursquare is a very necessary tool to increase your social media popularity but the most important problem of this app is the privacy question!
How a hotel director could act on for his hotel on Foursquare?
If the hotel is on a group the headquarter could use and develop the brand with this app but it could created problems with investors... The hotel director is obliged to be on his hotel and can't creates buzz with this type of app...

As a Foursquare user I can say that this is an amazing tool. This version is a mix of several existing app. You have the posiblity to see what is around you (app Around me) and see special offers on shops and restaurants, to ask your friends to go on Foursquare thanks to your Facebook and Twitter contacts and what you can explore in the area you are.
RépondreSupprimerI am not sure to follow you because all is about visiblity, the question of privacy is non relevant in Foursquare because people who checks in want to let others know where they are, and businesses have to take advantage of this tool.
They could use Foursquare check in to see who are newbies to incite them coming back in there business by offering them rewards and more rewards if they invite friends for example, or special offers only for regulars.
I know that I am very disapointed when I want to check in a place not registered in Foursqaure and businesses need to be aware of the power of communication of this tool.
Maybe it is not going to create a buzz but for sure, it will be an not to be missed place to be for businesses!!
