Article about the airlines Industry and effect on Hospitality Industry

Airlines add seats on travel optimism :

This article is about the optimism of Airlines company for the next year 2011.

In Fact 10 of the most biggest American Airlines company have decided add seats and flights for all the next year. This decision was took by Airlines revenu engineer who schedule a increase of passagers of 2,7% at minimum.
It is a very good news for this industry in total recession since 3 years (the beginning of the fiancial crisis). This add of sits and flights will be quicker for international routes than domestic routes for the simple reason that the demand comes from the corporate segment.
A segment which had completely abandoned the flights to reduce the costs of companies in crisis!
As says Rick Seaney economist from Farecompare.com this increase will be very progressive and should be affect by prices of fuel and oil. Airlines company stayed very sensible of the market prices and try to loose less money as possible.

To conclude it is a really good news for the Airlines industry and also for the hospitality because if peoples travelled more at international hotels occupancy will be affect...

We hope that economie of countries will keep this trend!

  1. Very good to hear because it is obviously the air transportation that generates non-domestic tourism in most of the case! If Major Airlines are optimistic, we can bet on a positive impact on occupancy rate for hotels.
